The Camp flag for the Col. Isaac W. Smith Camp #458 is the prototype battle-flag of the Army of Northern Virginia, pictured above. (Photo below shows Lt. Commander Norm Ernst on left and the Camp flag being carried by Camp Commander Brent Jacobs on the right)




Col. Smith also served under the below flag, of the Chief Engineer of the Army of Northern Virginia. He is known to have been in charge of the Confederate Pontoon Service, and instrumental at the sieges of Richmond and Petersburg.
