The Jefferson Davis Highway marker has been in Vancouver for almost 70 years. For a variety of reasons, namely "political correctness", the marker has been attacked by government officials relentlessly.

Your generous donation will help to ensure that the history of the Jefferson Davis Highway, its markers and their historical significance to the local community, as well as the often overlooked ties that U.S. Secretary of War Jefferson Davis had to the Pacific-Northwest are never forgotten and are permenently on display for all to enjoy and learn from.
